1. About SwapSlot

SwapSlot is operated by SwapSlot Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. By using SwapSlot you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

SwapSlot is not affiliated with the DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency) or any UK government body. We do not access, modify, or interact with the DVSA booking system in any way.

2. What SwapSlot Does

SwapSlot is a coordination platform that helps learner drivers find other learners who wish to swap their DVSA driving test dates. SwapSlot does not arrange, execute, or guarantee any test date swap. All swaps are completed by users themselves via the DVSA's official telephone service (0300 200 1122).

3. Eligibility

You must be 16 years of age or older to use SwapSlot. By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and that you hold a valid DVSA driving test booking.

4. Your Responsibilities

  • You must verify that any proposed swap is eligible under current DVSA rules (including the 10 working-day rule) before calling DVSA.
  • You are solely responsible for making the booking change via the DVSA phone service.
  • You must not use SwapSlot to facilitate commercial resale of test slots or any activity that violates DVSA policy.
  • You must not post false, misleading, or fraudulent listing information.

5. Swap Coordination Disclaimer

SwapSlot facilitates introductions between learner drivers. We cannot guarantee that any swap will be successful, that DVSA will approve a change, or that a matched partner will complete their side of the swap. SwapSlot accepts no liability for:

  • A swap that is rejected by DVSA;
  • Loss of a test booking due to a failed swap attempt;
  • Any financial loss arising from acting on a match suggested by SwapSlot.

6. Data Handling

We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR. We store your name, email, phone number, postcode, and test listing information to operate the service. We do not sell your data to third parties.

7. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via Account Settings. Account data is retained for 30 days after a deletion request before permanent erasure.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and software on SwapSlot is owned by SwapSlot Ltd or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the service without prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SwapSlot Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed £50.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of SwapSlot after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
